The Good Grit brand launched in 2014 with one mission in mind, to tell meaningful stories and inspire people to own their story, and share their Grit (perseverance at the highest level) with the whole damn world. We are a magazine telling those stories—and we are a creative agency helping businesses do the same. In your role as a Good Grit Fellow, you will not only be paid for your work…you will leave with a portfolio that makes you WILDLY sought after in the creative space. Good Grit Agency (and Magazine) is seeking a hard working, innovative, hungry-to-learn Design Student for our Fellowship program in the Atlanta or Birmingham market.
This is a completely remote, paid position, with a stipend of $1,000/month for a commitment of 15 hours a week (flexible knowing school comes first!), and the fellowship would last for up to a year. This position begins August 1, and goes until August 1 of the following year.
Through this fellowship, you would have the opportunity to learn from our Creative Director, Shivani, as well as the Creative Director of Good Grit Magazine, Cat Buchanan.
Ideal candidate is a junior or senior in college, pursuing a BFA or MFA in Graphic Design.

We’re a branding and creative storytelling agency. The creative agency was started by Shivani Kapoor and CEO and founder, Laura Quick. Seven years ago, Laura started Good Grit Magazine, a quarterly publication that puts a spotlight on resilient humans and their stories in the Southeast. We are a small but mighty and nimble team, looking for someone highly creative and who enjoys doing (and wants to learn) a bit of everything design-wise: print and layout, web design, content creation, branding, and really everything you will need to have a creative design career!
